Privacy Policy

Overview

Family AI Studio processes the photos, ultrasound images, prompts, and settings needed to provide the AI creation requested by the user.

This policy applies to the Family AI Studio mobile application and its related support services.

Sources and permissions

Most information is provided directly by you or created as you use the app. Device, diagnostic, and transaction information may come from your device, Apple, Google, or the service providers used to operate the app.

Permission-controlled information is accessed only after you grant the relevant device permission. You can revoke a permission in system settings, although the related feature may stop working.

Information we process

• Photos, ultrasound images, reference media, prompts, and feature selections you submit.
• Generated images, creation history, favorites, and export choices stored locally on your device.
• An anonymous Firebase authentication identifier, purchase entitlements, device information, diagnostics, analytics events, advertising-attribution data, and support messages.

How we use information

• Validate inputs and generate the requested image transformation.
• Maintain on-device creation history and premium access.
• Provide safety checks, support, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

Sharing and service providers

• OpenAI processes the images, ultrasound images, prompts, and choices needed for requested image generations and entertainment-only reports.
• fal.ai processes the images needed for requested video generations.
• Google Firebase creates an anonymous authentication session, routes requests to the secure backend, and provides analytics, diagnostics, messaging, performance, and abuse-prevention services.
• Apple and RevenueCat process purchases, subscription status, entitlements, and restore requests.
• Meta receives limited app-event and advertising-attribution data; the advertising identifier is available only when the user grants Apple tracking permission.
• Authorities or advisers where required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information. We do not permit service providers to use information for their own unrelated purposes.

International processing

Gamina and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect information during those transfers.

Storage and retention

Family AI Studio does not keep a server-side copy of input or generated media after processing. Inputs and results saved in History remain only on the device until the user deletes the item, clears History, or deletes the app. OpenAI and fal.ai may temporarily retain request data for security and service operation under their policies. Anonymous authentication, transaction, analytics, diagnostic, attribution, and safety records may be retained longer where necessary.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

• Choose which images to upload and which generated results to save or export.
• Review and explicitly allow third-party AI processing before the first generation; withdraw that permission at any time from Profile > Legal > AI Processing Consent.
• Remove individual items or clear History to delete locally saved input and generated files from the device.
• Contact support with privacy questions or requests concerning operational records.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may also give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and to complain to a data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

Third-party AI processing and permission

Before the first generation, Family AI Studio clearly identifies OpenAI, fal.ai, and Firebase, explains what data is shared and why, links to this Privacy Policy, and asks the user to allow the processing. If permission is not granted or is later withdrawn, no generation request is sent.

Family AI Studio's backend forwards only the inputs needed for the requested feature and does not keep a server-side image copy after processing. OpenAI and fal.ai may temporarily retain request data for security and service operation under their respective policies.

Face data and biometric information

Family AI Studio may process the visual features of faces present in media you choose to submit so it can create the requested portrait or transformation. This is image generation, not face recognition: the app is not designed to identify a person, verify identity, or create a biometric identity template.

Do not upload another person’s image unless you have permission and a lawful basis to do so. Avoid uploading identity documents or media you do not want processed by the providers needed to complete the generation.

Ultrasound and health-related images

An ultrasound image is used only as creative visual input for the feature you request. Family AI Studio does not interpret the scan, assess a pregnancy, diagnose a condition, or provide medical advice.

Before uploading a scan, remove names, clinic identifiers, dates, record numbers, or other information that is not needed for the creative request.

Children

Family AI Studio is intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian must control use of the app and uploads involving a child.

Third-party services and links

The app may link to or interoperate with services controlled by other companies. Their privacy practices apply to information they collect independently, so review their notices and controls before using those services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required.
